It all begins in Paris, France, when bohemians — artists, performers and nomads — in the 19th century put forth art and creativity over wealth, money and the norm. Because of their uniqueness of culture and less visibility in the period of time, the aspired community began to build the bohemian style décor trend that is known and favored till this day.
By putting aside the usual, the ordinary and the normal values that are far different from the aforementioned culture, the bohemian style incorporates loose and natural elements that promotes carefree ambience into a space. Artistic features and cultural elements are included into designing the space to further emphasize the creativity valued by bohemians.
The color palette of this concept can be decided based on your preference really — you can go as colorful as you like by combining different hues of yellows and reds, or you can also stick to a single color palette with neutral, earthy colors to create a nature-centered ambience into your space. Throughout these recent years, there has been a significant trend in including neutral tones in spaces, but go with what your gut and mind desires!
